If only it were so simple, I probably wouldn't need to read this in the first place. If you're okay with 64 pages of a To-Do list to a better you, then you'll probably like this book. I would have preferred more discussion of each topic to truly cement the ideas instead of having them wash over me in short, bulleted paragraphs. In the end, I just didn't get a whole lot out of this read.

So much truth is stated all the way through this book. If you have a hard time moving forward in any area of your life and can't figure out why, this book will help you recognize things about yourself that maybe holding you back.
At certain points the author got in the habbit of "just stop doing X" which doesn't really help the people who would be selecting this book. However, the overwhelming majority of the book has examples, and is quite well written. Definitely something I would recommend.

Fantastic reminders of what you might do to keep yourself from achieving what you want. Most importantly how to overcome your behaviors (procrastinating, etc.) As an artist I find reading this has been keeping me on track. Having it on my smart phone I can read my highlighted text whenever I have time, thereby keeping the concepts fresh in my mind.
This scantly paged "book" was really a joke. Now Mr. Burke would probably point his finger and accuse me of being the problem. However, I am tellling you this book was not only scant, but his points were thinly explained. It was more like a pamphlet. Definitely not worth $7.95. did the correct thing by immediately refunding my money and didn't even want the "book" returned.
This is the book to wake you up. Sometimes we need to be shaken up. Lot's of good reasoning went into this book. Have I applied what I've read however? Not sure. Maybe it should be broken up into exercises to move through, before handling all that is involved. I tend to rapidly forget quickly, what I have read. So I need to re-read this book again and again. Not the author's fault!
